Injustice and Healthy Anger

It is my boss in "seed-da-ney" again.

He created serial incidents that upset the project team and possibly the customers too. I decided to leave the details of  incidents out in the blog. His behavior, conscience and character certainly make your blood boiling. There is one incident that is specifically related to me - I was unfairly treated last week due to his own selfishness. With the Holy Spirit in me, my blood was not boiling but I was surely angry. My anger appropriately called my attention to an injustice that needed to be addressed, and I was spurred to righteous action. It was health anger. Most of the time, although, my anger is selfishly ignited by the violation of my expectations, rights and privileges. My principle is: in any case, it is important to know why the alarm is ringing and to respond in a godly way, and anger is never intended to continue unchecked. In this case, I have done what I can do to address the injustice and get over the anger about the incident as soon as possible. Sadly, no one cares.

Such is life!

"Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body. In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with his own hands, that he may have something to share with those in need. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
- Ephesians 4:25-32
