The Journey

I have been pondering my walk with God, specifically the last 4-5 years, lately. I am astounded how God unceasingly makes me know He is real and makes himself known to me through various channels. Last week and the week before last, He spoke to me through prophetic words again.

Late last October, He first challenged me and spoke to me through prophetic words about the new season that He has in store for me and that in fact leads the birth of this blog. I had been testing the prophetic words, searching His guidance and pressing into His presence so I would clearly hear His voice. Two months went, I heard nothing.

With the new year starts, surprisingly, He reveals more and more what those prophetic words mean to me. He gave me affirmations about myself in His sights. He verbally expressed His affections, initimate and individual love to me. He paints a picture about my life. He assures my purpose and calling of life. He not only sees the situations I am going through, he is also in the situations with me. He goes before me and is making a way for me. He reminds me the rejections I have and the hindrances that refrain me from receiving His blessings and reaching the goal of the race in this life. He gives me a heads up where and what I will be leading to this year. The highlight of all is He promoised He will expose the details through prophetic words (again?!) in due time. Interesting!

I do not understand why God choosees to speak to me through prophetic words and that is unimportant. The whole point is He is leading me to grow deeper in Him and wanted to show me He is the Creator, the Comforter and my all-in-all so that I can reach the finishing point of the race in my life. No matter what is changed, He does not change.

P.S. One of the things He revealed to me is about work opportunity this year. Guess what? The opportunity is not knocking the door, it is actually yelling! I am stoked. :)
