Hailstorm

The weather was weird. It was a glorious day around lunch time. I was sitting in a cafe and thought to myself I should have gone to the beach and enjoyed the sun. By the time, I finished lunch and made my way to a shopping centre, the hailstorm came! Buckets of water and hailstones were pouring down from sky, gusty wind, smashed leaves and snapped branches everywhere.

The size of hailstones were different from suburbs. Thank God the size of hailstones in the suburb I live was only pebble size. Nothing in the house was damaged. My neighboring suburbs got tennis ball size, golf ball size or cricket ball size hailstones! A lot of cars got dented by the hailstones. A lot of roof and windows were broken when the hailstones hit on them. It was a shocking experience to all although it only last about 20 minutes.

Some roads were still affected by the flood, and smashed leaves were still everywhere.
