I have been to Phillip Island, Melbourne million times. I would usually visit my favourite spots on Phillip Island when I go down there but I started to get bored. I have got to look for attractions where I had never visited. I found it, Pyramid Rock.
Pyramid Rock is a remarkable natural attraction. It presents a distinctive silhouette against the Southern Ocean. The boardwalk to the lookout gives you an excellent view of the black basalt columns crammed along the base of the steep cliff. The same columnar jointing is visible in Pyramid Rock in the distance, and most of the headlands and wave platforms that surround the island.
A tip for travellers: Put on some weight before you go unless you want the wind to blow you away.
