Weekend Away

There is time to work. There is time to play. There is time to take a break from routine.

Fifthteen of my friends and I went away for a weekend together. The weekend away was organised months ago. It is certainly a historic weekend for myself - experiencing the presence of God, experiencing almost instant healing power of God on others as we prayed, showing God's love by inviting strangers whom my friends met at a tourist attraction and had nowhere to stay for a night, experiencing the deep love for each other, ceasing the opportunity to share the gospel with the strangers and others, staying active over the weekend and that I am impressed with my energy level! hehe...

I had a few "my-first" happened over the weekend: first time to shoot pool, first time to play beach-cricket, first time to watch sun-rise on the beach, first time to share a house with strangers who are absolutely stranger to me and acquaintances.

To finish the wonderful weekend, I saw a rainbow as I left the place. What a great way to wrap up the weekend.
"And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." - Genesis 9:12-16
